Bulova Direct Reading Watch Circa 1990 (NOS)
For sale is a Bulova Direct Reading watch.
Normally confused with "Jumping hour", the main difference between "Direct Reading" and "Jumping Hour" watch is how the hour disc moves.
As the name suggest, the hour disc of "Jumping Hour" watches jumps instantaneously once every hour while the hour disc on a "Direct Reading" watch is in constant motion.
This Direct Reading watch made by Bulova sets itself apart from most direct reading watches with the minute and second displayed independently in their own subdials.
The watch also features a see-through caseback that allows the appreciation of the movement at work.
Measuring 28mm in width and 42mm lug to lug, the art deco case sits week on both large and small wrist.
The watch is a New Old Stock that hasn't been used. A light nick can be seen on the underside of the case from storage. The watch comes with the original box, tag and guarantee.
The watch comes on a brand new leather strap with its original buckle.
