The vintage Citizen Chrono Master was Citizen's high end collection with pieces being Chronometer graded. The Chrono Master remains highly collectible and recognized as Citizen still produces their high end quartz watches under the Chrono Master branding.
With the on going competition against their domestic rival, Seiko, the Chron Master is frequently compared with the King and Grand Seiko in terms of finishing and performance.
As with the other Chrono Master offered for sale then, the Citizen 4-020171 features a simple case construction with an elegant touch with the twisted lugs.
The watch features a time only clean silver sunburst dial with the classic Chrono Master logo above 6. You also get the logo in gold medallion on the caseback.
The Citizen 4-020171 also sets itself apart by being regulated to a higher standard and Chronometer graded as compared to the commonly available non Chronometer graded variant.
The watch is in mint condition other than scratches seen on the thick double domed crystal and common hairline scratches seen on the case. Slight paint loss can be seen on the hours hand. The watch was serviced in November 2020 and is ready to be used for a prolong period before the next servicing is required.
The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
