For sale is an Seiko 2628-5120.
Making its debut in Seiko's 1983 V1 catalogue, the 2628-5120 was launched along with the 2628-0150 and 2628-0140 with art deco design that pays homage to Seiko very early pieces from the 30-40s.
The vertically brushed two tone silver dial features black Arabic numerals and sub dial at 6 that might remind many of the Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso Classic small seconds but the Seiko 2628-5120 has it's minute marker on the edge in railway track style instead of being in the centre like the Reverso.
The syringe hands and all other elements of the dial are finished in black for contrast against the silver dial.
The dial is cased within a slender stepped palladium plated case that is gives the case a silvery-white appearance comparable to platinum as palladium belongs to the same platinum group metals as platinum.
The watch is in immaculate condition with little to no signs of usage seen. The dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any scratches.
The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap with the original palladium plated buckle.
