The Grand Seiko SBGS003 is one of the first 4 Grand Seiko released by Seiko in 1988 when the watch company decided to revive the Grand Seiko branding.
Grand Seiko regard the 95GS as their first quartz calibre though collectors might argue that the title belongs to Grand Quartz instead.
The SBGS003 features an integrated bracelet design that remind many of the early quartz watches with hooded lugs.
The watch features a clean champagne sunburst dial with contrasting back paint applied on bith the dial and hands for contrast.
Powered by the high accuracy quartz calibre 9587, the watch is capable of time keeping of ±10s/day. The accuracy of ±10s/day has always been the benchmark that Seiko has maintained for its high end quartz calibre from the 80s till the 9F calibre equipped in contemporary Grand Seiko.
The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen on the case. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The sapphire watch crystal is free from any scratches.
The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to 7.5".
