Grand Seiko 5641-7000 from 1971
For sale is a Seiko 5641-7000.
The Grand Seiko 5641-7000 is a unique variant of the 56GS with design that strays far from its siblings.
Unlike its siblings that has sharp angular case, the 5641-7000 has a brushed C-case that is similar to that of the Vintage Omega Constellation designed by Gérald Genta.
The watch dial is kept clean with svelte baton hands and indices.
The example offered is powered by the calibre 5641. The absence of day/date complication allows the watch to have a more symmetrical aesthetic and avoids the infamous quickset issue of the 56s.
The watch case in in pristine condition with minor scratches seen along the case. The watch dial is in excellent condition other than light aging seen above the GS logo. The hands are free from any signs of aging. Light hairline scratches can be seen on the crystal.
The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
