Grand Seiko 5646-7020 from 1972 (Rare)
For sale is a hardly seen Grand Seiko 5646-7020.
The watch features a gradient green dial shielded by a multifaceted case.
It is interesting to note that the 5646-7020 is not just a typical grading green dial; the centre section of the dial (stretching from 6 to 12) is actually has an alluring linen texture.
The dial is then decorated with rare stepped multifaceted indices on the edges. Those who have been collecting Vintage Seiko will be familiar with their multifaceted indices but stepped indices is a rare sight.
The watch originally features a 9 cut glass that is well worn and a brand new beveled crystal has been installed for clarity. The original 9 cut crystal will be given during the purchase.
The watch is in well worn condition with aging on the dial between 6 to 12. Slight nick can be observed on the bottom edge of the crown. Signs of polishing can be observed from the case but all original lines are still visible.
The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
