The 61GS family is the first group of GS automatic movement beating at 36000bph.
Stringent regulations were imposed on the 61GS family which were regulated to the Grand Seiko standard of -3/+5 sec/day at the time of production.
The 6145-8000 features the highly sought after "Grammar of Design" that can be seen across different Grand Seiko.
This example offered for sale here features a rare and highly sought after crosshair dial with raised chunky indices.
The watch is in mint unpolished condition other than slight lifting on the tip of the S on the Seiko logo and some light spotting around the Suwa logo and at 12 o clock. The medallion is in immaculate condition with no signs of corrosion.
The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
Serial number has been covered for privacy.
