For sale is a Grand Seiko 6146-8050.

The watch features a characteristic double facet case side positioned right above the lugs, a design collectors recognize from the 6185 VFA case.

Measuring 38mm in diameter, the watch is also one of the biggest vintage Grand Seiko produced and is a popular size amongst current collectors.

Sheltered by the case is a steel blue sunburst dial decorated with tall raised multifaceted indices that plays well with the minute markers printed towards the centre of the dial.

Powering this handsome piece is the calibre 6146 from the 61GS family. The 61 GS family is known as the first group of GS automatic movement beating at 36000bph.

Stringent regulations were imposed on the 61GS family which were regulated to the Grand Seiko standard of -3/+5 sec/day at the time of production.

The watch is in excellent condition with signs of usga seen across it. Slight corrosion can be seen on the medallion. The dial is free from aging. Light aging can be seen on the hands. The crystal has been replaced for clarity.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
