For sale is a Grand Seiko 6246-9000.

Highly sought after for many reasons, the 62GS watches were the first vintage automatic Grand Seiko calibre with a short production run of 2 years.

The 62GS features a clean bezeless case with beautiful multifaceted lug. The watch also features a beautiful stepped dial that makes the gives the dial extra depth. All these features unique to the 62GS.

The example offered here is the early variant with the lion medallion that collectors prefers.

The watch case is in well worn condition with hairline scratches seen. Signs of aging can be seen on the indices of the dial and hands. Signs of aging can also be seen on the medallion. A New Old Stock (NOS) crystal has been installed for clarity. The watch was serviced in December 2021 and is ready for prolong usage before the next servicing is required.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
