Grand Seiko Special 6156-8000 from 1971 (Serviced)

For sale is a Seiko 6156-8000.

The 6156-8000 adopts a elegant design for its face with a flat white dial with petit minute markers that does not clutter up the dial. Thin stick hands have also been used to complement the thin indices that further enhance the the clean aesthetic of the watch.

At the time of production the Calibre 6156 were regulated to ±3/per day (surpassing chronometer standards).

The example offered for sale is in an immaculate condition with light even patina along the edge. Common signs of usage can be seen on the case. A brand new aftermarket medallion has been installed.

Serviced in 2020 the watch is ready to be used for a prolong period before the next servicing is required. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch will come on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
