King Seiko 5625-7010 from 1968 (Serviced)

For sale is a Seiko 5625-7010.

Featuring a squarish case with short thin lugs, the King Seiko 5625-7010 is one of the rare non Vanac series King Seiko that strays far from the Grammar of Design.

The depart of the Grammar of Design goes beyond the case design, instead of a classic silver sunburst dial decorated with slender indices, the 5625-7010 went with a deep grey dial decorated with stubby indices.

The dial is then completed with a pair of hands that reminds us of the wooden ice cream stick we are all familiar with.

The departure from the case to dial and hands allows the King Seiko 5625-7010 to be a thoroughly fun watch perfect for those who appreciates the rich history of the King Seiko without going retro with the Vanacs.

The watch is in excellent condition with no signs of aging seen on the dial except for some light oxidation on the date window. A brand new aftermarket medallion has been installed. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity. The watch was serviced in December 2020 and is ready to be used for a prolong period before the next servicing is required.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
