For sale is a Seiko 45-8010.
The watch features a unique c- shape case that can also be seen on Omega Constellation.
Cased within is the highly revered calibre 45. The calibres from the 45 family are known for its incredible results in the 1967 Observatory Chronometer Challenge.
Beating away at 36000bph, the calibre 45 is capable of accurate timing and butter smooth sweep of the seconds hand.
The 45-8010 offered for sale here is the "Superior Chronometer" variant which was produced for a very short period of around a year before being discontinued.
The watch dial is in near perfect condition with no signs of aging seen other than a light dot near other than centre of the dial. Nicks and hairline scratches can be seen around the case. Common signs of corrosion can be seen on the medallion. The watch crystal remains pristine with no signs of scratches.
The watch comes with a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
Serial number has been covered for privacy.
