King Seiko Superior Chronometer 45-8010 from 1969

For sale is a Seiko 45-8010.

The King Seiko Superior Chronometer 45-8010 features a unique c-shape case that can also be seen on Omega Constellation.

Cased within is the highly revered calibre 45. The calibres from the 45 family are known for its incredible results in the 1967 Observatory Chronometer Challenge.

Beating away at 36000bph, the calibre 45 keeps good time and has a butter smooth sweep of the seconds hand.

The 45-8010 offered for sale here is the "Superior Chronometer" variant which was produced for a very short period of around a year before being discontinued.

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. A light nick can be seen on the bezel at 5. The dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. Light hair scratches can be seen on the crystal. Light aging can also be seen on the medallion.

The watch comes with a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
