The birth of the Longines Conquest collection is from the company’s pursue of a watch that encompasses both the sports and elegant element in it. The popularity of the vintage Conquest collection explains Longines’s move to do a reissue of it in 2014 to commemorate their 60th anniversary.

The Longines Conquest 1042 features a polished squircle case with a light catching vertically brushed dial.

Printing on the watch is kept minimal without the winged hourglass logo. Black paint is applied to the stick hands and linear hour markers for greater legibility.

Powered by the hand winding calibre L847.3, the absence of seconds hand matches the cold minimalist aesthetic of the watch while keeping the watch thin at 7.2mm.

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any visible scratches. The watch was serviced in July 2021 and is ready for prolong usage before the next servicing is required.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
