Longines Flagship 4027 Circa 1970
For sale is a Longines 4027.
Making its first debut in 1957 , the Longines Flagship achieved great success as a dress watch collection in its early days and was revived by Longines under its Heritage collection.
The Longines 4027 is a simple 2 hands manual winding watch that exudes minimalism.
The watch dial is finished in bronze with vertical brushing. Printing on the dial was kept to the minimum with just Longines, Flagship and Swiss Made printed.
The svelte stick hands and indices were finished in white for contrast against the dark background for easy reading of time.
The watch case is finished with deep brushing extending out from the middle with the bezel finished in high polish for greater sense of depth.
Powered by the hand winding calibre 847.3, the watch is kept thin at just 6mm and sits well under the cuff.
The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. Light signs of aging can be seen on the edge of the dial. The hands are free from any signs of aging. The watch crystal is free from any signs of scratches.
The watch comes on a brand new milanese strap.
Serial number has been covered for privacy.
