Must De Cartier Tank Circa 1970 (With Box)

For sale is a Must De Cartier Tank.

Cartier watches are enjoying a great amount of appreciation right now and that is being supported by the reissue of the Must De Cartier Tank Collection from the late 70s.

The reissue took inspiration from the minimalist plain coloured Must De Cartier Tank Vermeil that is offered for sale here.

The watch features a glossy burgundy dial with minimal gold printing on the dial paired with the classic sword hands found on Cartier tank.

With all the small models for the reissue powered by either quartz or solar powered movement, it makes the manual winding variant of the original Must De Cartier such the piece offered for sale here an extremely attractive offering.

The watch case is in excellent condition with slight loss of plating on the bottom left side of the case. The watch has developed a characteristic "spider" dial which occurs when the lacquer cracks. The lines from the cracking can be seen under certain lighting that gives it the characteristics appearance. Very minimal aging can be seen on the hands. The crystal remains in pristine condition with minor hairline scratches seen under certain lighting.

The watch comes with its period correct box and a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
