Seiko 2418-301A from 1974 (Serviced)

For sale is a Seiko 2418-301A.

The watch features an uncluttered Havelock Blue Nashiji dial that is perfectly complemented by the thin stick hands and indices.

Powered by the underrated calibre 2418, the lack of seconds hand allows the watch to have a lower profile while giving the watch a minimalist aesthetic. The automatic calibre 2418 measures only 4.55mm in height and beats away at 28800bph.

The crystal has a layer of purple AR coating that gives turns the face of the watch purple when viewed at an angle (refer to the mast photo).

Tilting the watch to the side, you will be able to see the elegant curves of the case with the top of the case blending in with the sides.

The watch case is in immaculate condition with close to no signs of aging seen. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal. Is in immaculate condition with minor scratches at the very edge of the crystal that are hardly visible. The watch was serviced in July 2022 and is keeping great time. 

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
