Seiko 4S25-8000 from 1993

For sale is a Seiko 4S25-8000.

The overall design of the 4S25-8000 appears to be a fusion of a classic field watch with dress watch elements.

The dial features a glossy white dial with applied arabics surrounded by bold printed minute markers. The watch dial is then complemented with a pair of polished sword hands and black seconds hand for added readability.

The Seiko 4S25-8000 features a sleek polished circular case that is contrasted with a brushed bezel.

The watch is equipped with a hardly seen ribbed crown that helps improve grip and ease of time setting.

Powering the watch is the calibre 4S25. The calibre is the descendant of the revered Daini 52 movement. The 4S25 beats at 28000bph, has 40hours power reserve and an accuracy of +25/-15. All this which is similar to the current 8L movement other than the power reserve.

The watch is in immaculate condition other than light hairline scratches seen on the case. A light nick can be seen on the bezel between 12 and 1. The domed watch crystal is in excellent condition with minimal scratches seen.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
