For sale is a Seiko 6217-7000.

The 6217-7000 was launched to commemorate the 1964 Tokyo Olympics (with the Olympics Torch engraved on the caseback) and is Seiko's first World Time watch.

The world time calibre 6217 was later redesigned and used in the 6217-8000 (famously known as 62mas) Seiko's first diver.

The dial is a rich charcoal sunburst with azure blue segmenting the cities and mustard yellow and silver for indicating the 24hours time zone. The understated colours of the watch is joined by a high polished gold GMT hands.

The watch is in excellent condition with a brand new crystal installed. The original stamping on the caseback is faint as with most of the 6217-7000 available on the market. Light signs of paint loss can be seen on the world time rotating bezel. The watch hands are free from any signs of aging.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
