Seiko 7001-8009 from 1970

For sale is a Seiko 7001-8009.

Though not officially known part of the MACV SOG collection, the 7001-8009 features a time only flat white dial with lumed Arabic numerals on the dial that is identical to the white variant MACV SOG 7005-8050.

The watch case is identical to the "Grammar of Design" case seen on King Seiko 4502-7000 making it ideal for those who loves the classic "Grammar of Design" case with a military aesthetic.

The watch is in excellent condition with all lines on the case still sharp. Scratches can be seen on the crystal. Light signs of aging can be seen on the edge of the dial at 8. No signs of lume rot can be seen on both the hands and Arabics. It is worth mentioning that it is rare to find a 7001-8009 with all the lume in such a great condition.

The watch comes on a brand nato strap.
