Seiko 7009-876A from 1989

For sale is a Seiko 7009-876A.

The 7009-876A features a silver sunburst dial with contrasting black syringe hands for easy time telling.

Looking at the day/date window, you will see that the day/date disc wheel is made out of metal instead of plastic as seen on the 7s26. This window gives you a peek into the superiority of the 7009 over the 7s26.

In an effort to lower their cost, Seiko used cheaper materials on the 7s26 as compared to 7009, from day/date disc wheel to balance wheel.

Apart from that that, the cost reduction on 7s26 removed the cool party trick of the 7009 where a single push of the crown changes the day instantaneously.

The watch is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen on the case and bracelet. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch comes on its original bracelet.
