Seiko Brightz Phoenix SAGQ005 from 2010 (LNIB)

For sale is a hardly seen Seiko SAGQ005.

Unknown to most contemporary Seiko Diver collectors, the SAGQ005 is one of the rare watches to be equipped with the calibre 8l35.

Lying beneath the sapphire crystal is an alluring stepped dial that has it indices situated higher than the mid section of the dial, giving extra depth to the otherwise flat black dial.

Measuring 42mm in diameter, most with smaller wrist might find it daunting at first but stainless steel case was designed to fit firmly on the wrist. With an aggressive curvature in the lugs, the watch sits really well on wrist from 6" and is complemented by a mirror, distortion free surface. Lugs have drilled holes for the ease of bracelet removal.

The solid linked bracelet gives the watch a boost in heftiness as it gives a good weight to the watch when worn on the wrist.

The SAGQ005 has in my experience, a crown with the best winding experience. The truncated cone shaped crown has well spaced deep grooves that gives a good grip without hurting the finger even after many rounds of winding.

Originally retailing around SGD$4000 with a short production of 2 years the watch is hardly offered for sale and is definitely a piece worthy in any Seiko divers collector's collection.

The watch is in pristine condition with little signs of aging seen on the watch other than hairline scratches around the clasp area. The watch comes with full box and papers. No signs of scratches are observed on the sapphire crystal nor bezel.

The watch comes on its original Seiko signed bracelet and has the full links intact.
