For sale is a Seiko 86898.

The Seiko Champion series was offered as Seiko's affordable hand winding series in the 60s.

The Seiko Champion evolved into different variation including the famous Seiko Champion Alpinist.

The Seiko 86899 offered for sale features a grey sunburst dial with white scripted printings for greater contrast and legibility.

Paired with the dial are broad indices and dauphine hands that were famous characteristics of early Seiko watches such as the first Grand Seiko 3180.

The watch is in excellent condition other than common pitting on the side and bottom. Of the case. Signs of polishing can also be observed for the lugs.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
