For sale is a Seiko SBCW005.

Initially branded as "Automatic Generating System" (A.G.S), Seiko eventually rebranded the technology as "Kinetic" which is still being used in their current production.

The Seiko SBCW005 is powered by Seiko's first quartz GMT calibre to be powered by electricity generated by wearer's motion through an oscillating weight.

Branded as "Flightmaster", the watch was made to target pilots and frequent flyers. This branding was carried on through the motif on the case back that was designed after the turbine of the jet engine.

Up close, it is apparent that the dial is very well done. It is separated into two distinct sections with different textures that provide some visual interest, while making time telling easier.

The two toned ceramic bezel is finished in dark grey at the top and silver at the bottom with granular texture.

Measuring 40mm wide in diameter and 46.5mm lug to lug, the watch wears extremely well on the wrist with its lightweight titanium case.

The watch case is in excellent condition with little signs of usage other than common hairline scratches on the case and bezel. The dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any scratches.

The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to 7.25" wrist.
