Seiko Grand Quartz 9942-8000 from 1978

For sale is a Seiko 9942-8000.

The watch features a clean white dial with tatami texture that gives the dial extra depth while the black paint on the indices and hands provides contrast against the white dial for legibility.

The watch case boasts sharp lines on the edges with extra facets that separate each section. The top of the case is finished with fine brushing to match the bracelet while the edges, sides and bezel are mirror finished for contrast.

The watch is powered by the high end quartz calibre 9942 with a precision of ±10s/year during its production; the same precision that the 9F calibres are known for.

The watch case is in immaculate condition with common hairline scratches seen on the sides and bezel. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal. Is free from scratches but light aging can be seen on the AR coating.

The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to 6.75" wrist.
