Seiko Gyro Marvel from 1959

For sale is a Seiko Gyro Marvel.

Making its debut in the 1959, the Seiko Gyro Marvel is Seiko's first self-winding watch equipped with Seiko's proprietary “magic lever" system.

The "magic lever" system later went on to most of Seiko's automatic calibre and continues to live on within Grand Seiko's 9R calibres.

Multiple variants were produced under the Gyro Marvel branding but only a handful were produced with full stainless steel case.

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. Aging can be seen across the dial. Light signs of aging can be seen on the hands. The crystal is free from any obvious signs of usage.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
