For sale is a Seiko 5146-7090.
Beating away at 28800bph the calibre 5146 is the most advance and last calibre to be produced under the 5100 family.
Calibres produced under the 51 family are known for the quirky quickset date function where the date is quickset by pressing the crown.
The 51 family shares plenty of similar traits with the 52 family which is said to be Seiko's most advanced mechanical movement at that time.
The 5146-7090 features a beautiful linen dial cased within a unique c-shaped case l. The inner facet of the lugs is characteristics of Tanaka influence as well.
The watch is in mint condition other than minor stains around the Seiko and Presmatic logo. The original brushed finishing of the case remains highly visible.
The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
Serial number has been covered for privacy.
