Seiko King Quartz 4823-8050 from 1976

For sale is a Seiko 4823-8050.

The watch features a beautiful white waffle dial that is similar to texture seen on Audemars Piguet Royal Oak but with smaller grids.

Casing the dial is a beautiful case with multifaceted edges that is a pleasure to look at as light darts across the lines.

Pairing this captivating dial is Seiko's Hardened Stainless Steel (HSS) case with a Hv score ~450. This added hardness allows the watch to be more scratch resistant. The usage of HSS is not marketing gimmick as examples of 4823-8050 can always be seen in immaculate condition.

Powering this handsome piece is the calibre 4823 which boast an accuracy of ±10s/month. This calibre also has the advance seconds forwarding technology found in the Seiko Superior 4883 calibre. The watch advance to the next 10 mins mark when the crown is being pulled to the second position.

The watch is in excellent condition with no signs of aging seen on the dial and hands. A few nicks can be seen on the sharp edges on the side of the case. The watch crystal is free from any scratches.

The watch comes with a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
