For sale is a Seiko 4N21-5380.

"Laurel" is best known for being Japan's first wristwatch created by Seiko in 1913.

The "Laurel" branding was used across Seiko's history and most notably the first Seiko Alpinist in 1959.

It wasn't until mid 90s where Seiko revived the laurel branding as a mid-high end line where high end calibres, sterling silver cases and enamel dials were used.

This brings us to the watch offered for sale here. The Seiko Laurel 4N21-5380 is an extremely rare quartz watch that features a handsome guilloche dial cased within a 925 silver case.

From the iconic "12" in red to the distinctive Arabic numerals, the dial pays homage to Japan's first wristwatch "Laurel" created by Seiko.

The style of hands and onion crown are also made to resemble those used on the first Laurel.

It is highly possible that the watch was produced for just a few months in 1997 before Seiko ceased its production.

The watch case is in immaculate condition with little signs of usage. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any scratches.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
