Seiko Liner J15001E from 1961

For sale is a Seiko J15001E.

Launched in the early 60s the Seiko Liner is an ultra thin watch that highlights Seiko's pursuit of thinness in the early days.

Measuring 3mm in thickness, the calibre 3140 used in the Skyliner is just 0.05mm thicker than the world's thinnest three hand movement in 1960; the Seiko calibre 60M.

The Seiko Liner J15001E features a silver concentric circle dial that has carved hour indices that you no longer see from Seiko.

The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. Aging can be seen on the dial. Little signs of aging can be seen on the hands. The watch crystal is free from scratches.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
