Seiko LM De Luxe 5626-8140 from 1976

For sale is a rare Seiko 5626-8140.

Seiko has always been a watch company that draws its inspiration for dials from the nature. A recent example will be that of the Grand Seiko SLGH005;nicknamed "White Birch", the texture of the dial supposedly resembles the bark of the White Birch tree.

Adorned with a unique textured dial, the dial of 5626-8140 will remind many of the texture of a tree bark; displaying the spirit of dial design Seiko had since the early days.

Branded as the Lord Matic (LM) De Luxe the watch shares the same premium calibre 5626 as its King seiko siblings instead of the usual calibre 5606 used for LM.

The watch case is in well worn condition with scratches seen across the case. The watch dial is in immaculate condition with a spot dot beside the index at 10 and some light aging on the day/date window frame. The watch hands are free from any signs of aging. A brand new crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
