Making its debut in the 1968, the Lord Matic line was created as a more affordable option to the King Seiko for those middle class working population.
Unlike some of the narrative found online, the Lord Matic line is not a descendent of the Lord Marvel line that reign as Seiko's high end line before the introduction of Grand and King Seiko.
The Seiko 5606-5000 was one of the first Lord Matic to be produced and features a square case paired with a well ventilated stainless steel bracelet.
Contrast is given to the watch through the Prussian blue dial that is kept clean with the absence of minute markers.
The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. Light hairline scratches and aging can be seen on the crystal.
The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to ~7" wrist.
