Seiko Lord Quartz 7143-7010 from 1979 (HSS)

For sale is a Seiko 7143-7010.

Produced for just a year between late 1979 and 1980, the 7143-7010 is highly sought after for its sharp case and Clous De Paris dial.

The sharp angular watch case received full mirror polishing on the top which reminds many of the zaratsu polishing used on contemporary Grand Seiko.

Unlike most of its siblings, the crown of the 7143-7010 is well hidden within the case giving the watch a greater sense of symmetry.

Hardened Stainless Steel (HSS) with a Hv score ~450 is used for the making of the case. This added hardness allows the watch to be more scratch resistant which allows multiple examples to retain their original finishing till this day.

The watch bracelet hugs the wearer's wrist comfortably and is definitely a plus for those who love the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo bracelet.

The example for sale here is in well worn condition with multiple hairline scratches seen on the bezel. The watch HSS case remains sharp with all original finishing still in pristine condition. Slight aging can be seen on the hands. The watch dial is in immaculate condition with no signs is aging seen. Light hairline scratches can be seen on the crystal.

The watch comes on its original bracelet that fits up to 7.25" wrist.
