Seiko NOIE SSWZ001 from 1994

For sale is a Seiko SSWZ001.

The Seiko NOIE collection made its debut in the 1995 Seiko catalogue targeting younger ladies with its simple and elegant design.

The collection earn its name by being the abbreviation of Noble, Original, Intelligent and Elegant.

The SSWZ001 is powered by the dual time quartz calibre 1E20 which allows time keeping of two different time through the two sub-dials.

Time on each sub dial can be set independently with the crowns situated on the right of the case.

The dial is finished in glossy pearl white with recessed sub-dial finished with their individual chrome dial ring which enhances the depth of the dial.

Each sub-dial receives a different design for its indices. The sub-dial at the top features Breguet style numerals and baton indices for the sub-dial below. This is to allow easy reading of time of two time zones.

The watch is given a touch of vibrancy with the subtle touch of blue on its hand and the gold on the NOIE logo.

The dial is cased within a stepped stainless steel case that is plated with an unknown alloy (PTP) that gives it a similar appearance to those coated with platinum (PMP).

The watch is then finished off with a double domed sapphire crystal for greater clarity and scratch resistance.

The watch is in immaculate condition with little signs of usage seen other than minimal hairline scratches on the case. The hands and dial are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from any scratches.
