Seiko SCVH001 from 1993

For sale is a Seiko SCVH001.

The Seiko SCVH001 is a watch that departs from the usual aesthetic of classic Seiko.

The watch feature a beautiful honeycomb dial marked by roman numerals lined on a contrasting white background for legibility and extra depth to the dial.

Another focal point of the watch is the oxford blue steel Breguet-styled hands which perfectly complement the non-Seiko styled dial layout.

Powered by the 4S25 movement. The SCVH001 is a watch that packs both the look and power. The calibre is the descendant of the revered Daini 52 movement. The 4S25 beats at 28000bph, has 40hours power reserve and an accuracy of +25/-15. All this which is similar to the current 8L movement other than the power reserve.

All these cased in a 34.8mm stepped case and toped off with an onion shaped crown makes the SCVH001 a rare offering from Seiko.

The watch case is in well worn condition with heavy signs of usage seen across the case. Loss of plating can be seen on the bottom right side of the case. The dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. A brand new sapphire crystal has been installed for clarity.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
