Seiko Seikomatic-P 5106-8010 from 1967
For sale is an undervalued 5106-8010.
With an uncanny resemblance to the 5722 Grand Seiko models, the 5106-8010 is a highly sought after model amongst the Seikomatic-P line.
The watch features a classic seiko silver sunburst dial that is decorated with stout looking indices.
The watch is also completed with dauphine hands that can be commonly seen on the vintage Grand and King Seiko.
The 5106 calibre is a highly engineered 33 jewels movement which includes multiple features that exceed most movements during the 60s. Not to forget the unique quickset date feature which allows you to easily change the date with a single push of the crown.
All these are packed into a slim 10mm case (including the domed acrylic crystal) which allows the watch to slip in and out of the sleeves with ease.
The watch case is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen. The watch dial is in immaculate condition with light signs of aging along the edge. Light hairline scratches can be seen on the hands and acrylic crystal.
The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
