Seiko Sportsman 6602-9981 from 1965

For sale is a Seiko 6602-9981.

The Seiko Sportsman series were manual winding watches produced in the 60s as an affordable option for the mass.

As per the Sportsman branding, watches produced under the line has a simple sports watch aesthetic such as lumed indices/hands and stout indices.

The 6602-9981 features a classic silver sunburst dial decorated with large notched indices along the edge.

The watch is in mint condition other than common aging seen on chrome plated case. Light aging can be observed on the dial around 11. The crowned seahorse engraving is still highly visible on the case back.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
