For sale is a Seiko SCFF001.

The SUS (meaning "Simple" and "Strong") collection was released by Seiko in the 90s targeting young watch collectors.

The SUS collection features military and aviation inspired pieces and was well received during the 8 years of production.

There were only two group of mechanical watch produced for the SUS collection; the famous SUS 4s15 field watch (SCFF001 and SCFF002) and the underappreciated 4s12 GMT watch (SCFF005, SCFF006 and SCFF007).

The Seiko SCFF001 is perhaps the most sought after piece from the SUS collection with its military aesthetic inspired by the Mark XI.

The watch dial is highly legible thanks to the contrasting white numerals against the smoky black sunburst dial. Time telling is made simpler with the blunt hands used to quickly distinguish between the hour and minute hands.

No effort was spared on the case as the team went an extra step to give the sandblasted case a well worn look straight from the factory.

The Seiko 4S movement is a product of the remaking of the revered Seiko Daini 52 movements from the 70s. The 4s movement can be seen in some of the most popular Seiko such as the Seiko Red Alpinist, Brightz and Credor.

The 4s15 movement is the descendant of the revered Daini 52 movement. The 4s15 beats at 28000bph, has 40hours power reserve and an accuracy of +25/-15. All this which is similar to the current 8L movement other than the power reserve.

The watch is in immaculate condition with its original factory finish. The watch dial and hands are free from any signs of aging. The crystal is free from scratches.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.
