With a similar case design and dial layout to vintage Cartier Tank, it is no surprise as to why the Universal Genève 842139/843139 is nicknamed the “Tank”.

Known for producing their watches completely in-house, the Universal Genève watch company (UG) produced plenty of quality watches since late 1890s till present.

The entire watch is a direct homage of Cartier Tank except for the usage of svelte baton hands and a full stainless steel crown with Universal Genève logo instead of precious stone.

The watch is in excellent condition with common hairline scratches seen on on the case. The watch dial has developed a craquelure/spider pattern highly sought after by collectors. The watch crystal is free from any scratches.

The watch came with a sticker attached to the case back but was removed subsequently as shown by the photo of the case back.

The watch comes on a brand new handmade top grained leather strap.

Serial number has been covered for privacy.
